Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall to visit Albany

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit Albany on Saturday, 14 November. During this visit they will mark the centenary of the Gallipoli landings by visiting the on Mount Adelaide. From the Centre, they will have a birds eye view of Princess Royal Harbour, the point from which the Australian and New Zealand troop convoys departed Australia for the Great War.

Their Royal Highnesses will also sample life in regional Australia with a visit to the Albany Agricultural Show. Here they will have the opportunity to view a log chopping demonstration and to meet local farmers, craftspeople and community members.

The public will have an opportunity to see Their Royal Highnesses as their motorcade travels through the Albany CBD en route to the National Anzac Centre on the Saturday.

Since its opening last November some 78,000 people have visited, the National Anzac Centre, surpassing all previous expectations.
